“And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.” Luke 18:29-30
Salvation itself is easy, but life after salvation is not always so. However, Jesus gives us this assurance of his providence forever.
Notice that this promise applies only if we are forsaking the company of others for God’s sake. If we strive with others out of wrath or malice or covetousness, the Lord owes us nothing.
“Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5
