He is Lord

The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.” Proverb 16:4

Jew, Gentile, Christian, atheist, he has made all and is Lord of all, whether we want to realize it or not.

This is why “lordship salvation” is a fallacy. Christ is Lord of all and made all. You become a believer when you believe on his name for salvation.

“Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land.” Jeremiah 25:9

Even the heathen king of Babylon is called a servant of God in this instance. The lord can use evil for good or good for evil according to his will and judgement.

In Exodus, the Pharaoh who said, “I know not the LORD,” played a role in glorifying his name around the world and the Lord said to him through Moses: “And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power, and that my name may be declared throughout all the world.” Exodus 9:16

The Lord’s will will be done. Let us pray that he uses us for good.
