What gets lost in the noise of Christian Zionism is the clear warning of scriptures given to those who profess to know the Lord but in works deny him[1]. Paul tells us that the calamities that fell upon Old Covenant national Israel are written for our admonition[2]. Drunk on cheap grace, the modern church has forgotten that the LORD will judge his people.[3]Lest we dismiss these words as “old” testament, Peter says that “judgment must begin at the house of the God,[4]” which is the heart, mind and body of the believer.

When we look at the state of American Christianity we see the signs of a field ripe for harvest. Like Old Covenant Israel the modern church is abounding with unscriptural worship, false doctrine, heresies, covetousness, sexual immorality, and a casting off of the scriptures and word of God. Evil men and seducers wax worse and worse[6] among us.
If God was willing to whet his sword against Israel[7] we are told not to boast in ourselves or be high-minded but fear[8]. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God[9].
They are not all Israel, which are of Israel,[10]and neither are they all Christians because they say they are.
