What Should You Do?

We all have doubts and uncertainties in our lives and at some point, we might find ourselves at an impasse, not knowing exactly what we should do.

The word "should" indicates an obligation to do something. Are you obligated to act in a certain way or to decide on certain thigs? To who are you obligated and how will you decide on what you should do?

There’s our way, which consists of pursuing the desires of our own hearts and being obligated only to ourselves, and then there is the way of God almighty. If we're seeking the truth on a matter, we can look to the Word of God to measure ourselves and to find out what we should do. When we forfeit our own ways and yield to the Lord, he will lead us on a path of peace and eternal life.

If you’re at an impasse, and you’re wrestling with decisions and thoughts of life-altering changes, then draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you (James 4:8).

God sent his Son Jesus to save the world, the lost, the sinners. He won’t leave you to wallow in sadness, he won’t leave you to die in your sins, he won’t leave you in a pit of despair. The Lord loves you and came to save you, if only you’d draw nigh to him.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;

but that the world through him might be saved.

-John 3:17

If you need counsel, seek ye the Lord in the Bible and pray that your desires might be aligned with His. Pray for the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, to fill you with the knowledge of God and to mend your soul.

"He will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee:

fear not, neither be dismayed."

-Deuteronomy 31:8

The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name,

he shall teach you all things…

-John 14:26
